Boreds...SO...boreds...
Journal Entry: Fri Aug 15, 2008, 8:02 PM
- Mood:
Lonely - Listening to: the tv in the backgrounds...
- Reading: The words as I type them...
- Watching: the words on the laptop as I type them...
- Playing: Cave Story
- Eating: nothing at the moments...
- Drinking: Coca-Cola...on the rocks...and I mean ice...
I'm in need of something to do...something productive...I don't mean heading outside and doing yardwork....or walking into my bedroom and doing some cleanings...(which it could use) I need something artistic to do. Some sort of project. Photo-repair, bookbinding...something...I need to order supplies for bookbinding, and I can't go anywhere to take any photos I haven't already taken...drawing, not in the mood...
I think I also needed to vent a bit...or someone to get out and do something with...most of my friends are from Brown...and here at home, well, my friends aren'ts...friends from high school are busy...or we really just dont have anything in common anymores...
I hate to say/claim it...but i think I might be somewhat depressed...

Welcome to
It may be a big site but there is a near perfect spot for everybody; just need to look around.
Whether it be drawing or photography, understandable how it can be frustrating when the mind draws blanks. ...perhaps turn photos into drawings and make two postings of them? Either way, I'm sure it'll make for a diverse gallery.
If you need help there are a few ways:
Some things to keep in mind:
Don't forget:
If you submit copyrighted works, it is against deviantART's policy and they will be deleted by the staff and you could be banned for doing so. Also, deviantART is for YOUR works NOT for images that have been found elsewhere on the internet or that you have received through e-mail chain letters.
A few of the common questions asked:
FAQ #147: How do I upload an avatar?
FAQ #106: What are the symbols in front of each deviants nickname?
FAQ #76: What is the deviantWATCH?
FAQ #73: Where is my deviantWATCH?
FAQ #316: How do I add someone to my deviantWATCH?
FAQ #28: What are the benefits of becoming a subscriber?
FAQ #81: How can I make links to other deviants, deviations, or websites?
A few things about posting:
FAQ #79: How do I submit Artwork?
Keep in mind that when you do submit art, dA is a community that encourages comments and critiques. Unless you are on dial-up, it is preferred that you are able to upload larger dimensions. With screen resolutions being on average now 1280x1024 and some common wide screens being 1920x1200, larger versions will be more welcomed. During submission, feel free to change the Fullview Size but then also check the Allow download of original (full-sized) image box.
In closing...
deviantART is a place to have fun. Comment when you see something you like (if you like something, tell why), post your own works, be a part of the community chat and forum, and the most important thing is to enjoy your stay.

yet to capture that same expression through the life of a child is so much more sincere, genuine, pure, and true. -me
